>>7189869That's odd, but kinda cool cus red phantom, the mutant, and mole people don't get much love.
I would say it's cus there already is a reaction series of universal monsters from when funko was involved with all the classics, but then this new line is redoing gillman, mummy, and wolfman so I dont know
I know /toy/ loves to hate these thing, I think they're kind of charming. I can't justify buying them though. I only own the Nosferatu one, have it hanging up on my wall, cus it loses half of it's appeal when it's taken out of the package. I'm not usually that kinda guy but I feel like that's kinda the point to these things.
I bought Mezco's Frankestein hoping that we would finally have a quality articualted line of these guys but they just sorta stopped at Frankenstein so I guess he didnt sell well, which kinda sucks. Would be cool if NECA got into them but I know they dont have interest, especially with those sales numbers. Maybe if universal studios got their head out of their ass with these universal monster remakes and realized maybe we don't want to see these monsters in giant world ending blockbuster spectacles and make good movies, these properties would start to sell more.
