Lets talk about some less known toys that you think deserve more attention.

I'll start with Fischertechnik. Literal 0 results in the archives.

>has a small comuinity in Germany otherwise largely unknown
>nothing licensed, most sets have educational background
>full-fledged robotics lineup with screw terminals allowing for easy diy expansion and custom controllers

Sure, you can use it for teaching and rapid prototyping, but at the core its a construction toy.
