The news of their closing was made too well known because of toy youtubers, which clearly got some Zoomers curious into reviving the usage of toys again. I'm curious to see how it goes but I don't expect them to stay alive again without some major policy changes.
>>7182814No, this doesn't work. Lack of security and employees is what has continued to fuck over TRU because the few employees are underpaid and expected to keep the place clean AND act as their own security. Larceny is at its highest during the holidays as well. Bad mothers stealing diapers and littering dirty diapers everywhere, people running out with cartfuls of merchandise, kids and adults opening blindbags and either stealing what's inside or leaving many bags/boxes opened and damaged, all of these are what make running a toy store difficult and more. They need to strategize more carefully about what they can do to prevent these issues.
>>7182864Tons of other IPs selling just fine.
>be jewish>make Star Wars>make it your cancerous "hEy NeRdS" cashcow for decades>Star Wars toys, Star Wars homeware, Star Wars food advertising, etc.>decide to make the IP appeal to a broader audience>do it in the worst way possible>just end up pissing off the main fanbase and failing to appeal to much of anyone else>profit lossgood riddance
>>7182981It'll only be successful if they improve security within the physical locations and make their online system not a total sluggish piece of shit and actually have a functioning online inventory system. They have to compete with Amazon now because Amazon helped take in their exclusives.
