For anyone collecting DX ridewatches, how do you deal with turning them off for display? The long peg is such a hassle that you have to snap open the two covers to get to the batteries, which begs the thought of "why not remove the batteries just like that", and the worst part snapping the face cover back in place. It's a severe design flaw to not have an on-off switch on these watches when they're even bulkier than lockseeds, and coming a year after gashats which also uses pegs only (except they're not as frustrating because they're thin). At this point I'm just leaving the ridewatches turned on at all times, since I have plenty of batteries to spare, but of course that will have to cut down on the number of ridewatches I plan to buy in the future.

Anonymous
>>7182834 Dude, I've left button cell batteries active in toys for several years without any corrosion. Unless you're running through the sounds every single day, the battery drain isn't significant. I too would have liked Ridewatches and Gashats to have an off switch just so that I can fiddle with them without accidentally triggering sounds in the middle of the night, but I don't find the fact that they're switchless dangerous to their longevity.

For non-silver details, you'd need to prime to prevent color bleeding OR you could lay a coat of silver first as a "primer" then paint over it, BUT you need to use acrylics if you want to paint over the silver (both paint marker brands use enamel paint).

Also, they kept the base a secret because the Decade Ridewatch is still a spoiler, and in Kiva's case it wouldn't really be a spoiler even if the base form has no figuarts. And even if Kivs figuarts did happen, there's no way it would be part of the 20th Kamen Rider Kick lineup, because it would just be part of the regular SHFSS release line (Wizard gets a pass because it is released very soon and most definitely before the 2nd wave of the 20th kamen rider kicks line).

I got my Drive Type Speed SHF in the mail yesterday and his waist was loose, so I popped him in half to fix the looseness. However, doing so snapped the little belt attachment plate which holds Belt-sand in place off the front of the belt because it just has two fragile hook-style pegs stuck through the rubber belt.
