>>7217386Laster and Braver are infamously fragile, it's really common for some of the pinned stuff to pop off (mostly fixable) and the panels making up the combined mode's shins are fairly delicate.
They have the same sort of Brain Master gimmick that MP Star Saber has, which limits the individuals' head articulation but you can just ignore it completely and use alternate heads that don't use Brain Masters for full ball joint neck articulation. One annoyance is that Blacker's Brain Master thing kind of gets in the way even if you don't want to use it, so you have to basically trim off a bit of plastic and force a part out so you can have proper head articulation on it with no problems.
Blacker is solid all around though (Only complaint would be that his hands are shit at holding his sword) and if you get them all together and combined, the combined mode is pretty solid in general, though the stumpy proportions limit the articulation a bit.
They're a bit annoying to transform, though, mainly because Laster and Braver are fragile and fiddly so you want to go slow, and the Blacker transforms like a fricking bayformer. (Think like MP36, Explodes into a clusterfuck of parts, re-assembles into a something coherent. It's not as mind numbing as MP36 but it's confusing as fuck the first few times doing it.)
I don't think I'd impulse buy them, I'd definitely think about how much I like the character or the design first, but I found them pretty fun at the end of the day. You really gotta be prepared to deal with some QC "fun" if you do get them, though.
