I ordered some Aussie Toy Soldiers from a Russian eBay dealer and they came in this box. What is this box? It looks interesting? I tried to decipher "БPOHEХOTA" but I got nothing I don't speak or read Russian So I don't know what it is but it looks almost like a bunch of Commissars from the Mordian Iron Guard? Help Me Anons I'm very Curious?

That's the idea, alternative wargame figures to get some money from the 40K players. Like how Warzone came about with cheaper figures and a cheaper game riding on the coattails of 40k success.

Russian here, it's a Tehnolog box from their Бpoнeпeхoтa series. They're quite larger than 28mm, so you can't really use them as proxies for 40k. Tehnolog's sets usually include unpainted 5-6 minis and a spring-loaded cannon or some other action feature.

Oh, and the toy soldiers inside look like generic nondescript toy soldiers, although judging by the photo they have a nice level of detail. "Coлдaтики" simply means "Toy soldiers".

Sure! Most of them are tabletop gaming clubs and shops, so wargames have to share a roof with tabletop RPGs and more casual tabletop games. There are wargaming clubs in bigger cities, they usually also sell miniatures (GW, Malifaux, Reaper, etc.).
