Honestly, I think its a pretty good wave. I've been in and out of the Predators over the years, and one of my biggest toy laments is that about a year or two ago I sold off all my Predators, and I had probably 60 or 70 of them. The first Kenner wave was what pulled me in, and I wanted them to do the Dark Horse Predators for ages.
Broken Tusk is probably one of my favorites of the line. The only accessories he comes with are the spear and the gun, but the armor and detailing are great. I've wanted to see his armor in figure form for years.
Machiko is actually surprising too. She's tiny compared to the Predators...Comes with an alternate hand, the rifle, and the removable helmet. I think she has some really unique articulation in the torso that functions almost like some import figures. She even has a toe hinge, of all things. Unfortunately, her ankles aren't the best, and she suffers from "tiny female action figure" feet, so she doesn't stand super well. The sculpting and detail is great, though, and aside from the ankles, its nice to see NECA take some risks on some unusual articulation and having it pay off decently well.
Horn Head is the "Who?" Predator of the wave, but it is nice to get some of the newer DH Predators mixed in with the classics. For some reason, the armor and weapons make him sort of look like the Predator version of Jason, or freaking Casey Jones. Maybe its just his bio mask, and the comically huge machete-like sword and wrist blades he has, but that's the vibe I get from him. His left shoulder is pretty stuck on my particular figure, and both of his bicep swivels are really loose, which is a little disappointing, but like Machiko, his feet are a bit hindered by his bulky shin armor.
Really, that's like the only thing left I wish NECA could fix on these Predators, is give us better ankle articulation.
