I hope FT ups their release speed next year. Hopefully the colored test shots are a sign they are. Think I'll go in on their Aerialbots. I like zetas superion but the individual bots do nothing for me.

So I picked up generation toy blades at tfcon, I am now seriously concerned for the set as a whole.

Well. I’m not sure but it feels like Fanstoys got through a lot of reprints recently, so hopefully in 2019 they aren’t producing figures from 2017 & 2018. I think hydra and hoodium look ready to go. The mini bots could move through production quick. Sprinkle in a combiner limb. They could get some stuff out

So I think she's a 7/10 figure.

Her hips pull down for more movement. Also her backpack is strange. The instructions don't show ho to transform it properly, I had to find my pictures I took on the floor to copy the correct position, and it's still not that stable.

Surprisingly I actually don't hate this thing. It's objectively pretty crap - parts have trouble tabbing in, parts that should have places to tab in don't, the instructions are pretty garbage, etc.

It generally sorta feels like it wants to explode but it made it to gun mode and back without breakage. I'm attempting tank mode now.

I feel like your best option other than asking Maketoys for a replacement waist to chest piece would be to unscrew the legs, pop the torso out on its ball joint, glue the pieces together, then recast the thing and reassemble.

Got to see/touch it in person this past weekend at TF Con. I don't want it at all but the heft, and number of moving pieces that you wouldn't necessarily expect are both amazing. A lot of the molded detail you see actually moves along with the articulation in an organic way. It's just a very weird, niche thing. Most people should probably get MMC Kultur, or the Legends scale one if they collect at that size.

Welp. After having transformed her a few times just fine, my Fansproject Echara's ankle joint just completely froze up and snapped off. I can't even move the ball in the socket anymore by hand, so trying to glue it back together is pointless, and it's in there too tightly for me to pop it out and sand it down.

I have no idea what happened. Maybe the plastic got too cold and contracted? Looks like I'm about to spend another hundred dollars on a replacement.

Vehicle mode is great, I was so down for the black and orange truck from the moment I saw it, the details are fantastic and there's a lot of paint apps and some chrome. As for the bot form... eh I'm not sure yet. Great transformation, good dimensions but feels kinda plain in places.
