I just picked up a set of the Thundercats wave 1 at Gamestop. Be careful though, I had two defective figures, a MummRa with an arm that would fall off at the slightest touch and a Panthro that snapped at the ball joint. Gonna go exchange them tomorrow.

So damn, I traded in my defective Panthro for a new one and his leg just crumbled off too. And looking at his other leg, there are heavy stress marks and I haven't even messed with that leg yet which leads me to believe it's a Panthro issue. I might be better off trying to fix his legs with screw hooks and rubber O-rings like a motu figure at this point.

The Jason figure is cool, but it's a shame that he can't hold his weapons tightly enough. Even in OP's photo he's holding the axe right at the blade because the handle isn't thick enough for him to grip it properly.

I love that stuff like this is getting made especially with the DC playset and monsters but man I wish there were more original or out there ideas and not just reskins of the same shit we already have countless merchandise of. Where are the original properties in toys anymore? Everything is just the same licenses rehashed 1000 times, so even something like the 10000th batman suddenly feels "fresh and unique" because hes a fucking barbarian. He's still batman! I feel like the last we got of new ideas was early Mezco with shit like their 20000 Leagues and gangster and zombie lines, or mcfarlane back when they were relevant.

I'm liking what boss fight and 4H are doing but I wish there were some original properties taking risks with playsets and shit.

I was right. These work great as additional villains for the DC line.
Also, the DC line is a mixed bag. On one hand, they hold their accessories way better for the most part(I can't get Joker's axe into his hand, I'll have to try heating it with a hair dryer) but they fucked up on the legs. The sockets for the little hip balls to go into are too tight/small. I needed to heat them up a lot to get them moving and even then it still feels like I may break them.

I bought Jason for my nephew as a Christmas gift and from looking at him in the packaging he looks surprisingly great in person. Nice paint job with nice matte finish and good color separation in the details. Decent sculpt for figures in this price range too. I wouldn't pick these up for myself but judging from that figure alone these are pretty damn good.
