And as far as Gambit is concerned, I really like Revoltech but it got increasingly annoying to be that they chose his 'astonishing' X-Men design over his tiger stripe one, and he looked really out of place next to my Cyclops which is the entire point of the X-Men, so i sold him and got the ML tiger stripe Wolverine, which i'm very satisfied with. And now it'd be fucking weird to get Revo Gambit to put next to them because he'd look really out of place, too. The ML are fine and good, and it's nice to know that they're going to flesh out the entire team so i can ensure a consistent look for my X-Men roster. If they do a Cyclops though, I'll be all over that simply because he's one of my favorite characters, although i'll keep the legends Cyke with my X-Men display. I don't even give enough of a fuck about Gambit to buy him for anything other than fleshing out a team, he's actually super fucking annoying with the way he talks in the comics and is always relentlessly macking on Rogue, it actually made me uncomfortable as a kid, dude seemed like a creep. And i think he's cool now, just not *that* cool and i have no particular attachment to him.

I'm pretty impressed with the new torso with the butterfly shoulders of Scarlet Spider/Classic DP, moves much better than the older Spidey torsos. So they're making improvements in comics so I could see maybe a new chest piece that's molded smaller just to hold the thick coat without getting puffy. And hopefully better arms.

i'm just one guy with my own opinions, i'm not literally every Revoltech fan rolled into one guy. I'm sure it works fine for a bunch of people. To me, it's the fact that the X-Men should all have equal billing as a team so i want them to look consistent. I think Revo Venom works really well as a boss type monster for MLs, and an ML like Black Cat works fine with the Revo Spidey since she's kind of a supporting character i guess, idk.

AY Gambit is not in his 90's costume just like AY Wolverine. In Gambit's case he only changed the blue to silver in the newer comics so he didn't have to look drastically different like Wolverine.

I really like the design of this thing. Too bad about the joints. It would be great if they took the original sculpt and put in more conventional joints. As the current joints just don't look good on close inspection. There's a prominent groove on her forearm so that she can bend it over 90 degrees, but this wouldn't be necessary if it was a conventional double hinge. The back of her knees look as if she has tumors growing out of them. Again, conventional double joints would fix the problem. Finally, the ankles break up the sculpt. They make her look like a robot. Conventional ankles would maintain the sculpt while providing comparable articulation.

It's not the joint's fault, it's the engineering, because all joints are pretty ugly.

This is unironically a feature and they do this on purpose to maximize articulation. They want to set themselves apart from figma, mafex and figuarts, for better or worse.
