I still dont understand how Toys R Us survived up here. When they announced bankruptcy I was like I am not surprised because our TRU's have always been shit with old shit that should've been on clearance for a year, garbage sales and never catching on to latest trends then I was shocked to hear they survived some how.

Both LEGO and most TCG companies have a tendency to be very stingy and controlling when it comes to sales on their products so as "not to dilute the value of the brand" or whatever. When Toys R Us shat the bed in the states, Wizards and The Pokemon Company both went out of their way to reclaim all the Pokemon/Magic inventory rather than let it get liquidated.
