So when Gwenpool got popular enough for Hasbro to start making the figure, Gurihiru hadn't even made any art for the character.
So they'd have been a couple of months into the prototyping when Gurihiru started drawing her solo comic and there's no way for them to knowl how long Gurirhur would remain on the book.
Then there's the fact that Hasbro's wave would already be finalized, so it's unlikely they'd just suddenly change course on who would be in the wave, muchless trash an already accurate sculpt from her comic.
But that's all moot, considering the fact that MLs are almost all done in a generic realistic style, so it's only a pipe dream Hasbro would even have made the figure based on the main artist's solo title that got canceled.
So the fact remains that the figure DOES look like the comic style... which could be just a coincidence... or not, since we have seen Hasbro (and Toy Biz) do realistic takes of various artist's styles and the fact the expression on oe of the heads matches that one cover's art.
And just to be clear, i like the Mafex more because i do like Gurihiru's style. I just don't like that you guys are stupid and/or ignorant about this shit.
