So, I took a gamble on one of those Chinese 100 gun lots.

After a month in shipping it came in.

5 sSMGs
16 ARs
13 snipers
67 BRs

Plus an old marine hand and a 2x2 plate.

So that's a nice little haul.

So the figs on the left and right are holding the ko weapons, it doesn't stress the hands, the on on the right is wearing one of the chest rigs its pretty close to mega quality, the pouches are lacking detail same with the back packs. The middle is "special" forces Steve on a mega body, and all the accessories come on a runner like a model kit

indeed....in fact i was going to pick these up so that i can try some repainting so that they can upgraded from retard squadron to regular troops....but those heads lol....the sculpts were worse than I expected i thought it would be just a matter of repaint but only a few that i see here....thanks again

Arms head, and feet are all Ko, they fit just fine but the legs are a bit wobbly, also the joints and pieces themselves are quite soft and gummy

Well Pikachu is adorable and huge. My wife picked it up on Black Friday for cheap and gave it to me for Christmas. Construction is kinda weird like they'd do stuff to pad the piece count but then skimp on some areas that could use an extra piece for stability. Still think he'd be great at retail price.

Yeah, I went around to the Burlingtons in Austin, but I think the other Meganerds got there ahead of me.

I live in Japan now and I like to physically go shop and buy my toys from stores.
I go to TRU and can't find any MEGA, even Nakano, Akiba, etc

I cannot begin to stress how many actual DREAMS I have of shopping for mega and not finding them that it actually becomes unpleasant in dream and wakes me up.

Depends. There have been signs that production is ramping back up for 2019. The problem is that talk about Mega's future is essentially talk about Mattel's future, and they really took it on the chin this year. Even if Mega sales surpass expectations in 2019, it will be all for nought unless the rest of Mattel can turn things around. Wait and see, I guess.

Saw pic related in-store at 50% off. I sort of wanted the bricks, but buying a fashion doll is a threshold that I can't being myself to cross.

Mega is not dead, it’s not dying, everything that was shown in toyfair has been released, the mega heroes 4 that you guys swore was cancelled has come out. Enough with this shit.

Mega Construx has ALWAYS had shitty distribution and non-existent marketing. Shit shows up randomly and unannounced, that’s it.

We talked about this earlier in the thread, the skull with the T-800 is too big to serve as a head, and underneath it is a peghole, not a ball socket. Guess we gotta keep waiting for a proper skeleton head.

I love that we got a ram skull head with Skeletor's staff and that it fits on bodies though. That was an ingenious little extra.

I do. The aesthetics are awesome and additional articulation is nice (ab crunch and ankles), but they have no detail. The hands are line lego hands, where cod has individual fingers sculpted. They’re also expensive.

Overall, I’d say don’t bother, unless you have tons of extra money and nothing better to spend it on. The lack of detail on hands, guns, legs, etc. was a serious turn off.
