Can anyone comment on the Ghostbusters playmobile line? Specifically ecto 1?

I picked the car up yesterday while traveling home. It was the only one on the shelf.

Now I'm home and notice that something large is flopping around.

Dis they ship this like this or do you think some kid got it for Christmas, are packed the box with a shoe or rock or something and returned it for money?
