>>7318126Kidrobot is still being managed as a discrete artist-run entity with Kozik firmly at the helm as creative director over 4 years after the aquisition. I don't see this as a bad thing, especially for licensing opportunities and with the low-end mass market blind boxes bringing back some interest in blind box series toys in the west.

A toy can be either but never both.
>>7318468Lol, sorry I ate the bait. I couldn't let it pass.
>>7318146>>7318200>>7318475Your photos are so good, you make the toys look like mischievous onlookers into our world. Photography tips?
>>7318688Good question but unfortunately, I'm not sure. The molds are metal and the vinyl poured so potentially lots because the process won't degrade the molds as much as resin casting but I'm guessing even the commons are going to be done in decently limited runs because it's expensive overall to order a casting run.
There was a sofubi thread here on the board recently, did it sage? I've only recently started reading about sofubi but I think the renaissance of sofubi as artist toys isn't getting enough press at all.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qRfTADEmueYAnyone go to cons or art shows that feature art toys or with guests that make some? Do most people order them online or do you have a shop near you that actually stocks some? Have you ever made any trades or been in a swap? Customized any for yourself? Made any accessories? 3D printed any of your own designs as toys or accessories?
