it's the payload for one of the levels, they're just using it as a vehicle, same reason why Soldier 76 is driving the truck payload in his set

Let's just talk about how ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE the box art is. I saw these in stores today and was blown away by how awful the design is. Tons of blank empty space, amateur placement, and the fucking green and tan robot is on a green and tan background. The one with the truck and a piece of building might be the worst box design I've seen a major company produce, ever.

I think Lego might have picked a winner with Overwatch. I went to the Walmart in the area the same day they put out their Overwatch lego display and by 2pm when I could finally get there it was picked clean. There was 1 Bastion and one Dva Reinhardt left and all the smaller sets were gone. The had the bigger set though.

The one with the hovercar look flat out unfinished.
The render is something you'd get from third party LDD rendering programs and there's nothing dynamic going on as if they forgot to add the swoosh-lines and motion blur.
Like, the car looks like it's just standing there but the cowboy dude looks like its going at 100mph.

Get real, the appeal of lego isn't 1:1 representation it is the blocks themselves and the fun that can be had.
The old SW sets captured that- Star wars entering the lego world instead of just lego entering the star wars world.
The games captured the fun of it all and the minifigures captured the essence of the characters rather than some crazy 1:1 stuff.

I wish we could go back.

I really can't stress enough how bad that cockpit is since the figure just rattles around and isn't secured to anything.
What baffles me is that almost all reviewers seem to mostly just gloss over it and even call it one of the best mechs Lego has done so far.

I'm in the camp that doesn't really care. Yes she rattles around if you try to play with it but I don't play with my Legos so it doesn't bother me. Also Jang is right, if you bend her legs like the instructions show she lays in perfect position when pushed foward. She rattles if you try to play with it so if that's important to you I understand why you would be disappointed. It can be easily fixed by adding another piece inside the cockpit her feet will catch on.

Good luck finding a set. They are back ordered everywhere including lego.com and Amazon. Gamespot might still have some but all the Target and Wal-Mart's are most likely out. They are better than some people are giving them credit for. I think they are amazing little representations of the characters. Bastion and dba and reinh are selling fast.

Oops I lied it's a 2x2 you need but still an easy fix but without the elbow stopper his arms probably will just flop to fully extended. The stopper keeps his arms in a good neutral position for a standing pose.

Why would they make a set specifically with Reinhart and D.Va and not have them in separate sets? Hoenstly this whole wave feels so lack luster given the small sets the lego movie two is giving with all sorts of variation.

People like to complain about it but it's nowhere near as bad as 2004-2008ish. If you were into Lego then and didn't notice, you won't now.

I feel like people have forgotten shit like the 18-shades-of-purple Knight Bus, curved slopes that looked almost a different colour to the rest of the set, and the shit-tonne of Pearl colours retired because they were that inconsistent.

The colour inconsistency has been around and wavered in severity since they stopped buying pre-coloured ABS and instead started dying it themselves. It's not great at present after improving for a bit, it was terrible around the launch of the first Lego movie etc. It meant we got way more colour choice, at a sacrifice of some consistency.

Quick review of the 3 I got
>Tracer x Widow
The little payload is great, the 2 figs have good printing, though of course they could have done more.
>Dorado
The truck is good, and the chokepoint facade is alright but hollow. I might moc a solid structure in the future. Reaper is the best fig, other 2 are good also but still could use more printing.
>Rein and Dva
Dva is fine save for the way you put her in the mech. I found a way to get her in that isnt loose but its finicky. Rein is good, but his arm design is strange, and like all lego mechs he lacks knees. Already planning on mocing better arms and legs, but there is nothing wrong with his torso.
>Are they worth it
If you like OW in any way (game, characters, whatever) they are worth it, ESPECIALLY the sale price I paid with Target. I'd say they have a lot of useful parts too. I know nothing about price-per-piece so someone else is gonna have to answer that
8/10 None of it is nearly as bad as everyone made them out to be

I think this is a short series. They gave us ALL popular characters from tracer to mccree and soldier.
Only "obscure and weird" ones left that will require an extreme new molding which this lazy ass serues can not afford

Like fir example junkrat will need a super unique spiked wheel mold
Roadhog will be the new super weird bigfig with fat belly and rubbery head mold
Torbjorn will need even more parts - his beard and visor and backpack with pipes and his claw hand

I dont believe in faery tales at least not in this case

The funny thing is that the perfect beard and visor exist, but you can't put them on a figure at the same time. The claw hand is no problem and you could easily build a decent backpack. If they made the beard and visor a single piece with a stud at the back he'd be easy to do
Roadhog and Junkrat would both also need only one new piece which seems reasonable considering all except two OW figures have one new part

I biught this set literally for Roadhog's fihure project
He is not FAT enough
Hog has literal round belly and will require more updates which will be easier to do as a completely new mold (like they dud with Winston even if lego already had gorilla bigfig from DC superheroes

Also roadhog dont have a "leather vest" but a leather chest armor
