I've never had a lost/stolen/broken figure in 2 decades of collecting (must be lucky) so I can't comment on that.
Finally, the only negative I have, which may be why a lot of anons will complain about them, is their price scalping after pre-orders/release.
Unlike other "ethical" stores like amiami, that sell for RRP until they sell out, N-Y will literally keep price gouging after every unit they sell, and then sit on their stock until collectors get desperate. It's a bit underhanded, but it's their business model.
For example, Mr. Satan was 7,700 yen at pre-order and now he is in stock, he's 8,800 yen. And of course everywhere else in Japan is sold out, so you're stuck if you want him now and don't want to wait.
