>>7345958>What quality? I admired the same quality done better in the mp line for some of these characters when it first started 10+ years ago.I agree, I much prefer a 10-20 year old Lamborghini Murcielago to a new Dacia Sandero.
But to be fair, a top of the range MP is about as comparable to a mass release fig as a luxury sportscar is to cheap and cheerful subcompact. Even with a 10 to 20 year gap.
>Face it, most people would take new, interesting takes on character instead of G1 version 50.0 with hollow bits (like TR) & not being a manlet over what Siege has bored us with.Again, I agree. I think the solution is to develop a cheap and reliable source of renewable energy, defeat the fossil fuel lobbies, as well as develop a cheap yet high quality & clean alternative to plastic or its key components. With that, we can get prices down, allowing toy companies to once again present the consumers with big and solid toys. Tell you what, you go advance human science by about 50-100 years and once you do, I'll e-mail Hasbro about not implementing so many cost cutting measures in their manufacturing process.
>Because at least we'll have something cool to look at on our shelves instead of threatening to kill ourselves because the 1000th G1 prime is here (Now with more grebbles). Here I'll have to disagree. Because simply spoken, there's actually very few mainline G1 Optimuses that are of collector quality. That's why people have to compare Siege Prime to a 12.5 year old Classics Prime. Combiner Wars gave us the first real attempt. Then there's PotP Leader Prime. Other than that, it's only been Siege and the upcoming BB Prime. Granted, I'm not counting Bayformer repaints or a few legends here and there. Even if we count those, that's what? Around 20 over the span of 13 years?
If you're bitching about too many Primes, I can see your point. But you're spouting unsubstantiated delusions as far as G1 Prime goes.
