>>7369390Yes, I did watch the entire series and hated all of it. It was poorly paced all throughout, with next to nothing happening up until the end of each season and then it tires to rush to finish everything off. It wasn't even a legitimate slow burn either because instead of world and character building, it just wasted time retreading already established shit or with meaningless poorly written conversations that added nothing. Also, like I said, the final battle was absolute garbage. It started interesting with Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard actually working together to fight Drac in the hallway but then as soon as he gets blasted back into the next room and Alucard pursues, it becomes a fucking DBZ fight between the two as they just toss each other around for a few minutes before having a heart to heart and Alucard kills him. Trevor coming in and cutting his head off with a sword barely counts for anything because he Drac was already as good as dead and his final lashing out was going to do... what exactly? We already established that he and Alucard's attacks were barely fazing each other so it barely seemed like a threat. It's a pretty anticlimactic win for the Belmont who was supposed to be the first in the family to ever kill Drac. Also like I said, dialogue between characters was garbage and the friendship between the 3 leads, not to mention the fucking romance between Trevor and Sypha, was unbelievable as fuck. There was zero chemistry anywhere or even any character growth to establish a budding relationship. It was just straight up "ew, you're a pig, BTW I'M TOTALLY FALLING FOR YOU FOR NO REASON TEE HEE!" It was seriously terrible and the fact that people are now holding it as the gold standard of video game adaptations isn't helping things. It's just keeping the bar as low as it has ever been and straight up telling animation studios that they can get away with low standard garbage as long as they through money at the animation and make it "mature".
