>>7362219>MS Prime shits all over MP10 design wiseUnless you don't like cartoon design/proportions. Then it's fundamentally unappealing and it doesn't really matter how much more articulation it has.
>but the shiny glossy red and darker colours still make MP10 really appealingMP-10 has a lot of appeal in general because it's designed to look good of its own accord as a toy and not simply because of how accurate it is to a cartoon.
>>7362253Damn, that axe is dinky. Muh accuracy strikes again, I guess. I really loved how MP-10's axe was huge, even bigger than MP-01's axe, despite being a much smaller figure, once again detailing how "making a good toy" was the priority over "making an accurate toy". I miss the old MPs.
>>7362261>The back half has a pretty bad case of optimus legs but, what can you do?I never really had an issue with this in Optimus figures, and I'm even what you'd call a "carfag" that cares about stylish, realistic alt modes, but lets be honest; the 5th wheel is always one of the ugliest parts of a truck because it's fully function over form, and I don't give a shit if it doesn't look accurate. The Takara fanboys that are trying to infer that the clusterfuck panel-pocalypse that is MP-44 is better because "hurrrr, the back of the truck is more realistic" are pathetic. Is it really worth having a lower profile on the 5th wheel if it's at the cost of literally almost everything else?
Not that anyone gives a fuck about my blogposting, but for what its worth, if I were looking for a replacement for MP-10, I'd probably go MS because despite the cartoon wank, it at least still looks like a fun toy with a cool transformation that won't bust my balls.
