Rock Candies are legitimatly fine.
Funko Pops and their articulated figures are painfully bad but they aren't incapable of decent statues.

Most in-between animation ran through Korea for decades starting in the '80s and heavily into the '90s. Companies like WB outsourced it to Korea and Japan to save money. Later shows like The Simpsons and Venture Bros would be animated entirely in Korea. So the talent pool is really deep there.
