Ok,your opinion is discarded. Bumblebee movie design is a great design.
It has both realism and accuracy to G1 minus te head but the new toned down Bay head is more iconic and cute. Anyway,nice bait you got there.

A reliable source from Hasbro has told me that there is a Siege Arcee on the way which is an entirely new mold who uses a more androgynous design (like TR Arcee) instead of the usual CIS female body found on Chromia etc. This is to further appeal to transgender fans in which if its popular & sales are decent then more female characters will be written as transgender with there toys reflecting this.

Thoughts?

I know this is a troll attempt but honestly, for toys that doesn't bother me at all.

Even to this day they can't consistently manage organically shaped fembodies that transform well, case in point your image. I would prefer less fappable fembots if it makes for better cleaner toys who don't have a whole vehicle on their back. All they need is to be of slimmer proportions and have a feminine face.

and hey, unlike some of this line the base mode actually isn't shit. It's not total G1 but that was really simple to begin with and there's all that extra mass they have to do something with. But that rocket is comically tall. Maybe the extra useless segments can be left out? The tank itself isn't as nice as the g1 tank though, too busy, too many greebles, too stretched out.

I still like G1 Omega Supreme(fuck you, Thew, you have shit taste) but it didn't even have thighs and their leg drums shatter too easily, and every time you transform it you fear breaking tabs because of old age. The Encore edition had a weird tinge to the plastic bits that made it look funny.

there's waaaay too many things hinting at it
Part of his chest panel flips down, the chest shape is less boxy than omega more angled like scorpy, scorpy has ramps that flip down from his legs, panels that flip out from his legs (you can see one in the omega base mode) and of course he has forarm heavy arms, and a special attachment on his back

The whole situation with the legality of Macross in the West is very heartbreaking because the creator is fully aware Macross has fans internationally and he wishes he could release his shows internationally but can't because of the legal issues. He's also hurt that Harmony Gold continues to make money off the Macross brand and designs without crediting the original creators.

It's never brought up in the interview but it makes me wonder how Kawamori would feel about the whole Jetfire situation. Seeing his original design being sold under a different franchise and having it being 'homaged' even today that often skirts the line of being a complete ripoff. Then again he also helped create the original Convoy and did MP Starscream so he probably already knows.
