>>7385017>Toybiz barely got anything right.Aside from superior paint, better range of articulation with more PoA, more unique sculpts on a consistent basis, and more accessories compared to what Hasbro is giving us now.
Hasbro has made a number of improvements in regard to proportion, sculpt, and general feel, especially compared to when they first acquired Marvel, and compared to how unnatural a lot of toybiz stuff can look, but they still haven't caught up to what toybiz was doing 15 years ago in many ways and I doubt they're interested in doing so if they want to keep production costs down. Better keep reusing those sculpts and leaving accessories to a minimum, god forbid a figure ship with a cool base or a flight stand anymore, don't wanna go broke.
Pic related retailed for the same price as any other ML in its day. You can guarantee it would go for double your normal ML figure these days if Hasbro were to release it. But since "toybiz never got anything right" I guess we don't miss good things anymore.
Also keep in mind that toybiz's work was bleeding edge at the time. Sculpt and articulation compared to what other lines were doing was on a completely different level. They changed everything about how action figures were made and who they were marketed toward, at least in a broad sense. Only faghots, retards and zoomies would shit talk their work today even though it very clearly wasn't perfect.
