>>7375121I quite liked the figure they did even if it isn't perfect or up to the standard of what is possible.
>>7376071I'm even happier that we are getting those companions because so many doctors haven't got that treatment and probably never will.
>>7376071If it's any consolation that 3 pack is reasonably priced at £20-£25 ( I forgot) so it's like 3 for 2.
I liked collecting it as a child and I guess I just want to see it continue for that reason because it makes me happy to see. Seeing the old things I never bothered picking up or had no appreciation for go for so much money really hurts. If anything that is what CO should be rereleasing.
I wish they had finished the line off though. To be without a classic series Sarah Jane but with 3 Peri's (I know they are repaint though) is maddening to see.
At this point I want the companions to be completed to go with the Doctors but they aren't likely to do that because CO is effectively bankrupt and the new series stuff is pretty anti toy and no one will want it.
Seeing Hasbro's Black Series stuff and the photoreal tech and then looking at the CO stuff and I wish hasbro could start making them. But at this point why? Who do I actually want out of the line?
Well Doctor's I suppose with the photoreal heads and articulated like the hasbro figures but then I look at the CO versions and the headsculpts are actually pretty damn good. They really captured the look of each actor and character. The paint looks like it's being slopped on and ruins the sculpt everytime but the great sculpt still shines through.
If we went with a new company now, we'd be starting over and unlikely to ever complete the collection so I think I am content with what has been released. I just wish CO got a cash intake and could make the other companions and daleks and then that would be it.
