Star Convoy is incredibly disappointing. Using PotP Convoy is an incredibly baffling idea, his horrible gimmick is incompatible with just about any variation of Optimus. Even if they somehow kept a base mode in there, he's burdened with the mini bot, they couldn't be assed to improve the ankles or give him wrists, and there's almost no chance his vehicle mode will match Star's. Just look at that star on his chest, dreadful. The original just had a nice embossed design.Considering Star Convoy will almost certainly not get another figure for well over a decade, it saddens me.

Armada Prime looks great though, MP Blackarachnia looks fantastic (though we haven't seen her alt mode yet).

He's got wrists, good range on his knees, ankle articulation, and what looks like an ab crunch from the side. His scale and detailing means he's obviously not MP and the design is deviating from the Armada incarnation so he looks like he belongs in something like siege. Except there is already two primes in that line and he looks a step above it with the increased articulation and lack of hollow cost cutting bits. There is no sign of either of his minicons and he also seems to be hiding something with the leg split which suggests the super mode. So where what the fuck line is he apart of?

Remember, they have a fuckton of space in the cabin to play with that's no longer taken up by an electronics package. It's also the obvious place to put his super mode head. The way the original did it was actually super hacky, there were lots of thin panels sliding around each other to make room.

Nah, even in that gif you can see the show “nips” are way more subtle and less pointy/protruding/defined points.

So unless the toy is feeling very cold and forgot it’s bra, the sculpt is still a somewhat inaccurate recreation of the show model and should be refined.

The one on the right would also look pretty baller (almost looks like a Nemesis Prime that turned good guy and defected to the Autobots) if it weren't for that gaudy pattern on the sides of his legs but it doesn't actually look like it's present anywhere else so you could easily just paint over it if you were so inclined. Admittedly, that would be a pretty silly thing to do though considering these things will no doubt be priced at a premium because it's a limited collab so you would be completely destroying the original value and purpose of the figure if you ever wanted to sell it in the future.
