There's also the fact that, from the poll, we've gotten Ultra Magnus, Megatron, Hound, Primal, and shockwave already.
It makes me think they were working on designs for all of them, and then they decided to do combiners again once the idea of WFC came around
I'm betting 2020 will bring us arcee, the rest of the movie bots and Thunderwing, and 2021 brings us Star Saber and Deathsaurus
I mean, hell, with the new commander size class it might not even take that long
2020 might see Victory Saber, basically being a POTP leader, with victory leo being a voyager sized weaponizer
