>>7409081In his interview with Shartimus it was interesting to hear his perspective. We always knew he wasn't a fan of articulation because it broke up the sculpt, because, he says, as an artist that's his primary focus. But then his Fortnite figures happened and there was apparently a major enough change in sales that it changed the company's entire philosophy in their figures, but that Todd himself still doesn't really get articulation. But then soon after when he was talking about articulated sports figures it kind of looked like he got a bit of inspiration as to why articulation is important, describing how a football player might be running with the ball, or also throwing it, or tackling.
Either way, I'm glad for the shift, and it's making me a heck of a lot more interested in all the things coming from McFarlane Toys.

I guess on the topic of articulation, if you were given the option for McFarlane Toys to remake some of their older products with their current articulation, what would you pick? Let's stay current for now, as things like a fully articulated Spawn he explicitly said is coming. If I were to pick specifically, I think a better articulated Zero from Borderlands would be nutty. In general, I think if he gave this treatment to Destiny figures it would bring new life to the line.
