So not long ago I made a thread asking if there was any merch for Links Awkeneing.

well... its probably safe to say theres GOING to be now.

So what are you speculations? Gashapon? Amiibo? maybe even figma or nendos?

Stuff in the actual artstyle or the cute game style?

I mean, we've been getting a ton of Figma and Nendos, and this IS zelda.

If a 3ds game like LBW can get a figma, im sure a switch remake of a classic could get something too.

Especially when it has a waifu character thats significant in the game (and literally no Zelda)

A Nendo is the most likely choice. The new art style is basically already set up for a Nendo to be made.

Unfortunately IF we get anything Link's Awakening based, it will be because of the new remake coming out. And what makes that unfortunate is the art direction of the remake is going the cutesy route

I know. It's a shame. I'm tempted to get the ALBW Figma anyway because it looks solid and I like that game, but I'd love something that better embodied classic Link. Nintendo doesn't seem too keen on going back to the older designs.

Eh. There are some good, notable designs that haven't really been touched. Moreover, while ALBW Link looks good in general the other two Figma Links look a little wonky. I can easily see why someone might be unsatisfied with the current selection.

Yeah, the SS and TP link figures have really lame face sculpts. I don't even like those designs much to begin with, but if I did I'd have been disappointed. Even ALBW Link only has one usable face. His happy face is more like some kind of creepy trance, I literally haven't ever used it.
