>>7402681Again, companies like Hiya are doing licensed figures and they're only $20.
That $35 price tag could be that the license is too expensive OR/AND they don't expect to sell as many figures. Nevermind you're comparing apples to oranges, since 4H's MyL line isn't licensed.
The fact that Hiya is able to sell their licensed figures for $20 is just more proof that 4H was flat out lying.
NEVERMIND the fact that Boss Fight sells their toys at RETAIL price, aka, their shit is sold in other stores for the same price that they don't dare go lower on because they dont want to piss off the stores carrying their stock. 4H gets every single penny from every figure that's sold at $30-$45 (minus CC fees).
More proof that they're full of shit when they made their claim a 1:18 figure would only be a dollar or two less than their 1:12 figures.
>Did I? Or did you just neglect to read and again neglect Yes, you'er still ignoring the fact that their Star Wars and MArvel comic packs were only a dollar more expensive than their GI Joes. Again, proving that the cost isn't that high.
The fact that they favor the more expensive toylines is that it's in Hasbro and stores best interest that you collect the more expensive toyline than the cheaper one. If Hasbro/stores can only sell one toyline, they'll focus on the more expensive one and the 6" lines are proven sellers.
It has nothing to do with the cost of production being disportionately higher for the 1:18 figures NOR the royalties being disportionately higher for the 1:18 figures.
The only thing that's better for Hasbro is that at $20 per figure, they'll reach the break even/profit point much faster at $20. Hasbro would still need to pay the royalty fee per unit though, but that's all in black.
