The problem is, alot of _other_ figures people complain about went to deep discount. Rogue, for starters. She was $8-12 on
Walmart.com. So was MCU Scarlet Witch. And Hobgoblin. And black Spiderman. And Spider Gwen. And so many others people are screaming rape prices over.
Again, off the top of my head, the only one I can think of that should've been rerun but wasn't is Hela and she's getting a reissue via retool in 2019 according to ToyFair reports.
I just find the complaints hollow because I used to order cases of the stuff. Walmarts here are perpetually barren, but if I was one cent over their $18.84, I was a "scalper." Even charging sales tax prompted complaints of "theft." I seriously have probably a hundred "rare" Legends sitting in bins right now because I couldn't even get MSRP for them.
Sorry for people who legitimately had bad timing but alot of folks pass this stuff up waiting for a sale, fall asleep and miss it, and then complain endlessly about the rapy injustice of having to pay 30 whole dollars, when they don't even blink at 2-3 times that for an import figure.
