I feel like the only did it because it's a deco that has never been released before. But like... maybe that's for a reason? The other two G2 Megatron decos are far superior. I generally like G2 colors, but I think this new Megs looks like ass, too. It's just a crappy deco with zero appeal. It can't even play the "so gaudy that it's kitsch" card, because it's not even gaudy. It's just weaponized ugliness.

Felt like selling my MP-21 lately, mostly because I picked up the G2 variant and like it a lot more than the original. I'm surprised to see that official, used MP-21s are still going for $50+ on ebay, even in the wake of the announcement of MP-45.

MP-21's a good figure. It's just that it's dumb for it to be an MP and charge so much for it, when it's more or less a chug with shiny paint. It should be $20. I'm not really impressed by the new version, it looks ugly, with too much in the way of folded parts, while MP-21 is very clean looking.

I'd rather have Siege Bumblebee though when they inevitably announce him.

So Apeface will not have Siege Numbering he also doesn't have Special Generation Selects Numbering either.

This now puts him in Siege 35 and nobody knows how that numbering system is set up. But since we already have a number 16 in Siege and are nowhere close to 16 bots in generations selects, it looks like Siege 35 will be fairly sizable.

Remember Multipacks only have 1 number to them so the individual bots do not count towards the total.

Finally got OpOp, and he's actually pretty great. Only problem is Diddy's anus won't accept the tab on Donky's ass so they can turn into their flight mode. While I'm glad Optimal Kong is in proportion he is on the small side compared to the OG OpOp. (Nothing a few 3rd party sets can't help with)

I liked how the Vehicons were Earth vehicles with a twist. Its like after g1 they were inspired by Earth vehicles they encountered but changed them to operate as sentient machines; so they have heads that can look around or other parts that can make them perform better than a driven vehicle.

Overlord apparently has a few unreleased retools. Outside of the two Primes there's also the canned Roadblock retool of hom where the tank mode has a double cannon and a shovel and the plane mode is from Skyshadow and redone in purple and black with the headmaster being a tiny little gold guy.

Yeah Shipping from BBTS isn't great either, they can also get you railed with import fees too.

That said you may not have that much of a choice anyway. A3U is good but they don't always get everything, you may have to use pulse or BBTS if you want Combat Megatron.

Titan Returns Perceptor with the nonnef kit is pretty good, unfortunately they don't seem to sell it anymore and the figure kind of sucks without it. The main thing you'd want out of it is the replacement feet because the normal ones are really, really bad and he does not stand well.

I was always partial to the RID comic’s mostly WFC inspired take on Cybertronian alt-modes. They were a nice combination of sleek, vaguely weird/alien, tron-lined, and yet still identifiable as what general type of vehicle they were.
(Also unlike MTMTE, especially in its late seasons, RID consistently remembered that transformers transform.)
And they all felt like they had a common design philosophy grouping them together as originating from the same place/species.

I'm getting peeved with my only one toy per character rule with all these great Optimus and Megatron toys coming out.
I already have G2 Megatron as my main Megatron because I had it since I was little and I picked Armada Optimus as my main Optimus but this Megatron looks great and BB Optimus, SS DOTM Optimus, and Siege Optimus look great.

I just don't want an Optimus clutter like any basic transformers collector but all of these look great.

you can start by prototyping it with clay, wood, and wire like the old ones used to do
or you can try 3d modelling it and printing it, but if you don't have experience in both, there's quite a learning curve.
If you want a real world vehicle, then getting a model of it and attaching it to a base figure is the easiest path

What an odd figure to get made. I like it, but it's an odd choice. I wasn't going to get Siege Megatron even though the mold looked pretty good since standard gray Megs is well-represented in my collection. But this was a good excuse to pick it up, although I definitely wish it were the green and purple camo version instead.

It's such an odd color scheme that I think it screams KO. I was a little Eh on it when I ordered it, but in hand I do like it quite a bit so I'm glad I took the gamble. He's a specialty figure though. He's not something main line, he's a 3p that you have to import, so it's certainly justifiable in my mind. I've paid outragous prices for GI Joes before, so a tiny figure being costly isn't really that big of a deal if there's a reason for it.
