I have I think 7 or 8 that I have out in my house. I'm really picky about adding new ones since it's easy for plush toys to look cluttered no matter how they're displayed. Almost all of my toys as a kid were stuffed animals, though, so I think my mom has like 50 in her attic from my childhood plus my giant beanie baby collection. I think it's too many when you no longer have a good way to store or display them. (Or if they become a fire hazard or are hoarded in a way that damages them).

My favorite plushes that I have as an adult are a blue parrot I got from my local zoo and Meowth from Build a Bear that I was gifted. This dragon beanie baby is probably my favorite from my childhood. I keep him on my bookcase next to my A Song of Ice and Fire novels

Since it relates to the thread I’ll share my find of these Pumkin king plushies from Hot Topic that I got on clearance. They were already half off but they were running a special of buy one TNBC get the other for a $1 and it applied to clearance to so I got these guys for a total of $19.00 usd. Won’t be Properly in season for another 6/7 months but it’s worth the wait.

I used to own a lot but Ive gotten rid of them all except for like a Kirby and Mewtwo one. Theyre just too big and you cant do anything with them like figures. Im not into statues but atleast theyre in good poses while plushies sort of just sit there... I mean collecting toys is man childish enough for me but it would be hard to justify collecting plushies too.

Plushies are kinda hard to display and they take up alot of room. I can see why people wouldn't want a bunch of them.

I suggest you throw them away or give them away so you will not feel 'super gay' as you put it. By the way I've known several people older than me (much older than 23) who have cool collections of plushies. I don't appreciate plushies as much as mini figurines like I collect, but they like what they like and don't feel insecure about it. You never want to feel insecure about your hobbies.

Dear god, yes. I brought her with me on a trip and the first thing my friend said when she saw her was "She looks so expensive!" The thing is just impossibly soft and has such a cute expression that gets me every time. It was one of the cheapest ones but for a made to order with moveable arms legs and head I feel like I've gotten my money's worth.

You should consider buying some shelfs if you have the room. Theres so many plushies that it's kinda hard to see them all without some type of organization

My brother and I used to have a lot as kids. We'd make up character personalities and lore and everything for them and they'd go on all kinds of adventures. They've all since been gone, but I've been wanting to get a Pokemon Umbreon plushie to put on the inside corner of my bed. I have about two plastic storage bins fill of plush that I've won from crane machines in the past 3 years. Probably over 30 of them. They range from Nintendo plush to Pokemon to random shit. I think I have at least 7 or so plush of that chicken from FNAF because the machines that had them in there had the highest odds to win then so I kept going back to them.

The last plushie I got was when I went to a charity shop with my sister. We both tossed through a pile of plushies and I found this one bear that was just the right size and cuddliness that we bought. It was fun; the shop keeper was of good humour and sat the bear up and asked it questions as we put it through the counter ^.^
Anyway, I've kept that bear on my bed for the past few years now. Probably need to get round to cleaning it tho, probably saturated with gross human sweat.

I already tried. If you tailor them maybe but Piglette's torso is very short and thin by comparison. Her tail is HUGE and because of the aforementioned torso stuff its not in the same place as most BAB tail holes

She's here! She's so lovely and was a gift from my wife which makes her even more special. She's very soft and seems well made. She's stuffed very firmly but is still comfortable to hug.

The wheather has been wonderful lately so I'll have to get nicer pictures in a few days. I love her and she was worth every penny!

If anyone wanted to know about a Piglette in Build a Bear clothes, I took some pictures. I think it's adorable from the front, good fit, looks like she's wearing an old t shirt for pajamas.

From the back the poor fit is more obvious, it's a bit baggy and has to be bunched up because of the tail. I am actually thinking about getting a BAB dress now, it would be easy to just cut it down the middle and add some different buttons for a tighter fit.
