I found this website after stumbling across the thread and having my interest peaked, it might be helpful for tracking down quality dinosaur figures and models. https://www.everythingdinosaur.com/

No please don't bother with the Movie Monster Fictional Dinosaur "Indoraptor" its head sculpt is awful and not even close to movie accurate. The latest figures on shelves have horrible QC issues, loose hips, misaligned jaws, fragile joints, etc.

If your interested in other figures with complex articulation you could try reasaur carnage line figures from the 90s or early 2000s but these days they are almost non existent on the market.
On the other hand there is the amazing 1:18 Walking With Dinosaurs 3D Gorgon and Ultimate Gorgon (Gorgosaurus Libratus), with multiple points of articulation scales perfectly with Gi.Joe and other 3.75 in figures and scales nicely with the BOTM raptors. The figure is fairly easy to find much easier than the Reasaurs and can be found usual for a fair price usually in the UK.

The equivalent store for people in the US is http://stores.dansdinosaurs.com/ to track some fancy model and resin kits. Also for Beast of Mesozoic it is cheaper to get the figures directly from the creator at creative beast.

Anyway, it is kind of a bummer that there's not a whole lot of high end resit kit dino collector (pic related) on /toy/. dino general tend to just be Beast of Mesozoic General, and there's not a whole lot to talk about when we're waiting for the next KS

Vitamin Imagination Korean based artist, there is an official website, Facebook page, twitter, instagram, and Shapeways account not sure wich one dose the selling but it seems fairly reasonable most of the skeletons are done in 1:18 scale and go from $75- $250+ depending on the size and complexity of the figure/model.

A quick application of dull coat could fix that.

Alternatively you could play with them in a sandbox, and the micro abrasions would give you a more realistic texture over time.
