I need your help, /toy/.

Does anyone know where I can commission a unique bespoke action figure, designed from the ground up with articulation on the level of a Figuarts? Has anyone here ever done this before?

Let's just assume money isn't an issue.

IIRC Anthonyscustoms made some roidmonster with figuarts articulation on zbrush or something.
Maybe you could commission a 3D modeller to make one and print it.

Very funny, but I meant what I said. The tricky part is that it's not an original character, so I'd need to find someone small enough that there's no real possibiliy of copyright bullshit. Companies who only do large orders are definitely not gonna wanna touch this.

You're not going to find a factory that will produce a single figure. They will need to run probably hnudred minimum.

If you're looking for someone to make you a single figure, look into the guys who do 3D printed toys. They guy who designed the Astrobots (Toy Forge?) made and sold them as 3D printed toys first, before Toy Notch picted them up for production. Those things are rediculously articulated.

One thing that concerns me about a lot of what I'm seeing from these hobbyists is that the plastic they're working with is apparently really brittle and difficult to pose, etc...
