Grail is a shitty toy from my childhood that they didn’t make much of but the nostalgia makes me happy. It’s really embarrassing but it’s the villain character from Xiaolin Showdown. I am more of a “casual” collector and just have a few busou shinkis, daibadi polys, and nendoroids. I’m a lesbian and my ex gf was manipulative and ended up with the cat. I haven’t fought more yet since my roommate has animals and I’m afraid of them fighting. I am stupid. Gonna call the post office and open a report with eBay tomorrow.

Contact the local PD and find out if they think a $300 package theft is worth filing a report, and if so file one. If not try to get a statement by letter or email that you tried. Then contact the carrier and file a report there for sure, they should know what areas are insecure and you might not be the only one this happened to. Contact the seller through eBay and let them know they need to start an insurance claim on your item to get you your refund, and let them know you've already contacted the police and shipper about the theft to reinforce you're not trying to scam them (even though they'll still think this). If they took a risk by shipping your item without properly covering it and try to brush you off, that's on them. Ebay places that responsibility on sellers and even offers their own insurance for stuff over $100, and bars sellers from charging a separate fee to pass the blame. If all else fails file a charge back through your credit card (hopefully you used one).
