I have Not-Ryu and a few other figures and I kind of agree that the price-per-quality aspect of these guys is a bit off. I won't say they're bad figures, they do have a decent range of motion. But their articulation feels soft and fragile, like these are toys you have to be delicate with. Compared to say, Mythic Legions, another KS based toyline, where those figures are generally pretty solid outside of a loose joint here or there.
The Troop Builder ninja were especially overpriced, as $30ish a pop made them not worth building an army of. The Samurai are pretty good though, they come with tons of gear, all their armor is removable but doesn't really hurt their articulation.
If their quality was improved or price dramatically dropped, I'd get more. But as it stands, they're not super impressive.
