When I was a poorfag kid, I loved these styrofoam packing chunks and decorated them with markers to make bases for my toys. I had one for my TMNT that was all decked out with giant sewer tunnel openings drawn onto the inner walls and the lowest areas of the floor colored green. In the part where they lived, I had some rectangular plastic sprues (I think from weapons?) that were approximately scaled to bedframes that I wrapped yarn around. Those Pizza Points that were printed on the back of the toy packaging were all cut out and kept in the kitchen area.

What kinds of homemade toy bases did you make as a kid?
