5 POA now is $10 which is insane, SA is... $13? Such a tiny jump for all those extra parts. But toy prices have been so high the industry is fucking itself hard pushing $20 6" figures and such, then these companies dare blame the consumer for bad sales.
Expect the next Joe movie line to be 5 POA, because they'll claim the line is a total risk, too much to do articulated figures on. Then it'll bomb and be 100% pinned on "the fans".
And Hasbro really fucks up some SA figures bad. Black Series 6" has stupid decisions, I've handled a few, nor did I feel like spending extra to re-buy everyone at a bigger scale. The SA 4" Rose was just bad, the joints looked like they want to fall apart, gaps everywhere, and instead of using the 5 POA head they made a new head that wasn't right. Wonder why it didn't sell? It's like Hasbro wants the females to be shit so they can stick to the "girl figures sell poorly" myth they've been glued to since the 90s. Sure they'll sell like crap because you make too few of them AND they're awful. Self-fulfilling prophecy, anyone?
