Its not really complicated to make plastic pieces (guns in this case, but anything really) with 2 sorts of plastic.

You just need two molds with the second one being installed on a injection molding machine running on "semi automatic" mode with a worker (or a robot) putting in the sprues from the first machine (fully automatic) after each shot.
Every somewhat decent tool maker can make tools to work in this way, and literally every single factory hall with at least two injection molding machines and a single worker can produce these pieces.

Yes.
Look for "Enlighten Military" on Ali.
The set comes with a ruined building as well as a red haired female sniper with a motorbike.

It also has no real nazi symbols, but his mustache gives him away.
The car is really neat though.
I might look for a better hitler minifig, or at least a hat for this one because his face is nice.

I've got this one along with a set of figs, a motobike, and some other stuff.
Sometimes the hands or arms are really loose, and the guns are all shit.
Real Nazi symbols, the set of figs comes with a cool flag, too. Hitler minifig is prerty good, I really like the fake suede overcoat. I've used it for a Lego blacksmith minifig, it's just a little thick material.

There's that. Lego probably files a trademark claim with AliExpress/Alibaba whenever a seller uses "Lego" in a non-Lego listing. You see a lot of eBay listings using "LXgo" in their listings for the same reasons. 'Legoings" was probably spawned by auto-complete. In fact, my guess is that a lot of Chinese brand names are misspelled search terms.

So where do these sets fit? Brick Formation got the license to make official Homeworld sets from Gearbox, and they're using legit Legos to make up the kits, but the sets are not licensed by Lego nor endorsed by Lego. So they're using official Lego bricks, but they're not official sets, but they are a legally used license, but are not licensed by Lego. Do they go here then?

Its the german word for tank, used almost exclusively by the Wehrmacht, so its a ww2 german tank

An armored car would be Panzerspähwagen. The difference is that "Späh" means recce while "Kampf" means combat.

Sembo, Jie star (even have bootleg brickmania sets) and Sluban as you already know are making the more recent ww2 stuff. Oenux, who make ww2 minifig battlepacks also seem to have lots of ww2 prop models. You seem to be picky abiut your planes so I doubt anything aside from Cobi and the Mega bloks p51 mustang will satisfy you.

Chink minifigs are inconsistent. Basically not every joint will have the same smoothness. Printing should be just fine. They even do torso side printing sometimes. You may as well get that Hitler mini for less than a dollar.

My main complaint with MegaBloks figures are their faces, masked figures look great but any figure with an actual face looks like he has clinical retardation. Cobi has the same problem except their faces are so smiley it's creepy

I just ordered this Panzer IV from Ali Express, pictures in the reviews looked really good, I'll see how it goes. The Mega Bloks P51 looks great but I'm in the same boat as you wherein I don't really care for U.S. WW2 equipment or allied equipment in general. I do wish more jap planes were available from anyone but I'll settle for just my cobi Zero for now I guess

I actually think Sluban’s model looks better in this case. The main fuselage of the plane (especially the tail section) of the Cobi model is too blocky imo. I like how Sluban used curved tiles to smoothen the sides of the plane. It also doesn’t use specialized pieces unlike the Cobi model.

The figures are good for what they cost.

Some legs and arms are really loose, but thats maybe 1 out of 10 minifigs.

I would simply replace the pilots/tankers from the cobi sets with them.

As great as Cobis models are, all of the vehicles with Camo look like shit due to the nature of the bricks.

Print of body, legs and arms is great. Face is decent, a bit to evil looking though.
Only the cap is not really good.

The quality of the miniature and the posability is excellent though. Well worth the 1,something Euro i paid.

One of the 4 minifigs in the set.

All 4 are excellent. Without a doubt the best ones from China i got so far. The only thing that could have been better would have been prints on the cap and the helmets (like the perfect ones on the bodies), but they are plain.

Limbs are tight and they feel like i remember real lego minifigs from my childhood. Sadly i don't have any original one to compare it in my apartment.
Lots of weapons and equipment (3 sprues) was included too. MP-40, Machine gun, Stg-44 etc..

And the finished model.
I replaced the silly looking brick-made gun with the Mg-34 that came with the set so it looks better in my opinion.

The scratches on the surface plates are all stickers sadly, but they fit 100% correct and don't go over more than 1 brick each, so its not a problem to apply them.

In my opinion these stickers increase the look of that vehicle by alot. Looks way better than Cobis set.

The bricks themselves went together smoothly and without a problem. they stick together extremely good too. A part seperator was included as well btw.

Overall i can recommend the set. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Since you asked about the track.
It actually is thin, but its thin on the real vehicle as well. Its around 1/3 of the width of a tiger track, which seems to be correct on that model.

I found out that if you follow the instruction and use 32 links for each track side then its a bit to long. 31 links worked better but maybe its supposed to have quite some sag. i might add the remaining track link on each side later.

Based on this year's sets from Lego's City Police subtheme, I would say that the China pandering is already underway. It's actually a significant sidestep from reality for Lego, but nobody would bat an eyelash if a Chinese brand had put the same sets out.

It rolls if you apply some pressure onto the vehicle, but it could be smoother.
The axes and the wheels on them sit very tight but i assume that could be avoided during construction.

Of course. They love bricks.
But they have a way better access to all the chink sets which cost a quarter of the price without being worse quality (in most cases) and/or offer way more bricks/better/smarter built models.
The number of (not licensed, thats another topic) Lego sets that are actually good sets in itself is small. The number of these good sets that offer actually more than a comparable chinese set from a good competitor are tiny.

They offer these impressive babies for around 20 euros. Not only are the lego style cartoony alternatives you posted cheap but the big expert creator detailed models like these are also very affordable. The more I think about it the less Lego elitism seems like itll fly in China.

All german vehicles after 1943 were Dunkelgelb (dark yellow) from the factories no matter where they were sent to. The camo was applied by the crews in the field in most cases. So thats not a problem.
Later some factories did apply a standard camo pattern, but not all did. (A famous example is the disk shaped ambush camo pattern seen on Panther tanks made by MAN)

No good there. Sembo's made a derpy Sherman tank and Jie star has a M24 and Renault copied off brickmania's designs.

Everything else is either German, Soviet, Chinese or a cartoony Abrams styled tank.

I don't know if Cobi themselves have discounts but I usually buy Cobi through Walmart who do clearance sales on them
I bought a Stuka from them for like 20 bucks when it usually goes for 35, and a M24 chaffee for 20 bucks too and those go for 40

Yeah no problem, pictures are always a determining factor for me when I buy things but there aren't many pictures of these online, so I might as well provide some for the next guy who wants to buy one of these. I'd 100% recommend all three of these sets; They're great. Only problem I've ever encountered is the turrets on both tanks are just a little weak since they're only held in place by one peg

The generic Wehrmacht guys + the Wehrmacht Officer are >>7496466 these dudes, although be warned that the arms are definitely kinda loose, except the Officer who is actually impeccable. For the price I got them at and given they're just for posing, though, I don't really mind the loose limbs
The 3 guys in the tank are actual Lego figures, the two wearing black are Star Wars Imperials and the guy in tan is from an Indiana Jones set. Their guns and Stahlhelms are from BrickArms except the officer, his hat is the hat that the Cobi figure came with. Fits perfectly on Lego figures
And the other 3, the 3 with actual insignia, are from this Chink Panzer IV >>7495780 that just came in yesterday. I haven't put the tank itself together yet, but I'll post pictures when I do, and the figures are fantastic. Lego-tier quality, which is surprising from China but I'll take it

i will.
I got the WoT-Warsaw "Polish" panther, but i've seen on youtube that it comes with replacement parts for the tiles with the polish flag print on them so it will be a generic Panther in dark yellow.

Alright, so finally built this. Long story short, Cobi is better but more expensive. This was $25. Cobis Panzer IV is $40. With this you get good quality figures with insignia (A rarity actually), and an okay tank. With Cobi you get a stellar vehicle but figures everyone replaces. Main problem with the Chinese one is that it was missing a few pieces, which I hear is kinda commonplace for these Chinese sets. You can see in the wheels that I kinda improvised using the decorative spares because it was missing half of one of the actual wheels. The other missing pieces were easy to replace using my own personal stash, but still. The machine gun mounting also turned out to be really fragile and actually physically snapped, but I didn't plan on putting that on the tank anyways. It's a decent tank, but expect some missing pieces

If you're wondering about the turret, no, those pieces aren't missing. I just intentionally left it short to make it take after the early war Ausf A variant. If anyone wants a picture of it with the long turret I'd be happy to post that later

Paid a visit to the liquidation centre last week, was probably a mistake heh. There was a big assortment of JIE STAR sets, mostly pirate-themed but some military as well. I got the three larger pirate sets (there were four but I already had that one).

There were also cases of small sets, 12 different ones that can be combined into one big set. There were lots of "new" Decool Architect sets as well (straight copies of Lego Creator sets), and Sluban City-type sets. It was tough in limiting what I picked up and I still spent about a hundred anyway, but such is the danger of Chinese legos eh. That and finding atoms in your bricks, of course.

Seen quite a few good ones on Ali, haven't been bold enough to order one yet but this Wange one appeared at Canadian Tire over the winter and I managed to get it for half price, even. Here's the other ship that comes to mind for me, not a pirate ship but could certainly be pressed into service as one. For a combo set it's probably the best one I've experienced to date, with the big build way better than the individual builds. There were a few minor clutch issues and applying the stickers was tricky, but overall it's a great ship.

It actually isn't a straight up copy, the Enlighten version has some significant differences. The ship's wheel has switched places with the mizzenmast; there's a crowsnest on the mainmast; the bowsprit is different; they've added a second cannon; and there's various little changes in the overall design. They definitely started out with the original in mind, even keeping the flag and coat of arms. I was sorely tempted again last night to order a ship while getting those links together, but then I looked at my stack of unopened sets and resisted, heh.

I'm looking for a boat that I could customize to make look like the Jackdaw from Assassin's Creed IV to go along with the Edward Kenway minifig I've got coming, but none of them really have the right sail configuration. Link related is the closest I could find sail-wise, and the back of it wouldn't be too hard to change, but I'd rather have just plain white sails and I couldn't find that on any of the ships. Has anyone ever tried making their own sails before or should I just suck it up and use the red ones?

Thanks for the nice feedback.

I think i mentioned it somewhere in this or the last thread; i don't like how camo looks on brick tanks. That left me with little options for a Panther, since Cobi either does them in Camo or Grey.
So i got this one, which is a captured vehicle used by the polish, but luckily it comes with only one printed tile to be put on the front armor, but it also comes with a plain one so i could build it as a german vehicle.
All other polish markings are stickers.

I also noticed when i was looking at pictures of the various panther sets that they are not just the same model in different colors, all of the sets are different in some ways. (Front fenders, side skirts, turret machine gun, exhausts etc).

The tracks work fantastically on this one btw, WAY better than on the sdkfz 251.

the quality and feel is very nice, only the big plates behave a bit differently under tension. You have to be more thorough with clicking bricks together all the way.

tommorow I will be able to get better light. Note that half of the left wall and the ballista is actually genuine LEGO I already had. You almost cannot tell the difference unless you actually manipulate with the bricks (or notice there is no logo on every stud).

I was afraid that the colours would be slightly different, but each of them is spot on.

10/10 would buy again

I'd hurry if I were you, though. There was a crackdown on Lepin factory so this product is now discontinued (that's why the LEPIN logo is covered with that weeabo sticker).

You can still find it, sometimes under Lepin or just legoing/ blocks 16013

Go to Aliexpress and literally enter "blocks army" and you will find a million different offers, usually 50-80 cent per minifig with a ton of equipment. Some sets with alot of minis might even be cheaper if you break down the price to a single minifig.

I believe that China is changing their copyright laws, by 2020 it appears that they'll take it very seriously.

So these kind of things will probably stop.

The trademarking offices will be fined with a high amount of money if they break the new laws and stuff.

China is finally stepping up the game.

This was my first time buying chinkbricks and i have to say, this thing is awesome.
I admit i was getting kinda pissed off with the interior "skeleton" building part but after it was done it just felt so good.
Minifigs are also pretty great and notSilvanas Windrunner is my favorite now, the wizard and the knights are also neat, there's also a lot of swords, guns and even a cannon.
I think the yellow dragon wings are kinda of an overkill and will probably remove them.

how else could you get a classic pirate ship without paying hundreds of dollars on ebay?

lego is obviously not going to re-release them eventhough it is profitable (if chinks can profit, why wouldnt lego)

Brick quality and clutch is excellent, on par with lepin. Stickers are transparent, so they appear more like prints when they are applied
