>>7471750There is a much wider variation in Chinese produced vinyl. Some stuff I have from china is comparable to Japanese vinyl, and some of them have a cheap waxy feel. The thing I notice is that Chinese producers are much more likely to cover their toy in unnecessary paint instead of letting the vinyl shine, even when the vinyl seems of decent quality.
>the same techniques just made in ChinaThe only Chinese producer I can think of using the same methods as the Japanese off the top of my head is red hot style. You can find youtube videos watching the different techniques to get a better idea of how slush casting works. I'm not sure where they source there vinyl from. I believe there is a specific company in Japan that all sofubi producers there use. If I remember correctly a lot of Chinese producers use some sort of powder plastisol.
Anyways I'm ignorant on the matter myself, and am going mostly of personal experiences. I believe your comment is a bit over simplistic though.
>I think the Draculazer Gums guys are fine. I like supporting the guy and his designs are sick.I like his designs as well, but I'd rather support his newest toy then buying from something from that company again to be honest. Maybe I'm too picky.
