As for Overlord, I don’t think he’s ever had that happen. He was burned down to his not-adamantium skeleton in LSotW, and a quantum-duplicate if him was killed by beheading by the DJD.
That being said, I guess Strafe’s could retract down into her body, but that still implies pretty strange things about how her robot head is wired up considering her monster-mode keeps her eyes and mouth(s), but at the end of an elongated neck.
