>>7487371Is your Cheetor the first run or the reissue? The first run was pretty infamous for having major joint tightness issues (some fixable, some not). As well there' a minor design flaw with the transformation that prevents his chest from closing up all the way properly (basically there's no space for the cat whiskers). I'm curious to know if the reissue will fix any of that.
Dinobot is an absolute unit of a figure. Articulation is good in robot mode however his elbows are limited to about 90 degrees because of how his arms transform. He's a bit brickish in dino mode though owing largely to the fact that it basically doesn't have hip joints, but it can still strike a pose with assistance from the fuckoff huge stand.
Transforming him is kind of obtuse with many parts needing to be in seemingly random positions until suddenly everything starts clicking together, and I didn't find the instructions very good. It's not super complicated or even that time consuming to transform, it's just a matter of remembering/figuring out where everything goes. He doesn't shed paint but it's worth being careful not to rub surfaces together too much though.
QC wise there's nothing super serious but a few issues can occur. The most notable one is that one of his shoulder joints has a ratchet that can shear itself away until it stops working if it's misassembled, you can't really do anything about it but it's not really a problem for posing since that's not even the main shoulder joint. Another issue is that the electronics for the eyes can come misassembled as such that there's continuous power drain, which is fixable if you can solder (the switch is upside down) or not an issue if you don't care about lights. I also found one of his ankle joints in robot mode kind of weak but one pass of floor polish fixes that forever.
Overall I found him pretty worth it. The price is even surprisingly palatable once you get him in hand and see he's appropriately pretty complex and well made.
