Its the normal xeno, yeah. All the same mold. The queen could come in more colors down the road if she sells well. There still look to be a ton of xeno colors on the way.

Got the bird in and its incredible. The clear plastic is gorgeous and the articulation on on a whole different level. Maybe the most attractive looking box form as well. I'll post some pictures once my move is over with but I'd put it at the top of all the boxes so far.

If you fold it the way the instructions show and put it inside the box, then put the figure inside the plastic insert will act somewhat like a spring and help push the figure out of the storage box when you open the door.

They rotate more than turn, and that swivel is at the very top of the head, so it can look a bit weird. Also, the heads look a little sunken into the neck unless you actually have them look up slightly, I wish the grey piece on the back of the neck extended up like half an inch.

You can either set up a Taobao account or just go through a middleman service. I use 42Agent when I go through a middleman. I figured out how to use Taobao but the last time the packaging was almost wrecked so if its something exclusive I care about I just fork over the extra cash for proper packaging done by middlemen. Here is the picture they sent me today of my order.

No word yet on 2.0 versions of Delta or Moma, so those should be fine for now. Just wanted to give people the heads up that if you've been staring at some version of DIO for a few months not sure if you should get it or not, there will probably be no more of them ever made so once they run out of stock its all over. DIO 2.0 should be on the way here soon and we already saw the mold for the JOJO 2.0

On another note I got my SWAT Rhino and he's fantastic. Colors and tampos are so crisp and fantastic. I was one of those people who was almost totally disinterested in the Rhino and Hippo and now I adore these bulky dudes.

Clear plastic is known to be more brittle and prone to cracking or breaking, and all the boxes are made of clear plastic. When I pick up my whole stack its actually pretty heavy. Not heavy as in I'm struggling at all, just heavy enough that I'm a bit worried. I just don't want to break anything is all. But if something does explode I guess I can end up mentioning it here.

Clear plastic isn't necessarily any more fragile than any other, it has to do with specific mixes and types of plastic. I have clear toys that I could hurl against concrete walls all day without breaking, and ones that will crumble if I closed my hand around them a little too tight. It's all about the specifics.

This is usually tough to do since it requires the perfect confluence of release dates and in-stock items for all the stuff you want. Probably a better idea to check out HLJ, their Private Warehouse feature lets you stockpile stuff for up to 2 months then just pay one EMS charge. Using this model, I only pay for shipping six times a year, and each time it's only around 5k, which is much less than if I'd individually shipped everything in it. This also takes the stress out of buying small items, since they basically add nothing to this shipping charge.

Just something to consider.

Fuck, that sucks my dude. I rarely ever have problems with SAL but just recently I had a kit (Super Minipla 2 pack) come in absurdly mangled. I was super scared about it being broken, but aside from some very warped sprues and a few pieces popped off of them, everything was fine. And after it survived all of that, I was the one who broke a piece, d'oh.

Actually, the only Beast Boxes not to come with containers are the Dios and the Birds. With the birds its probably a price point consideration as they are probably the most intricate and largest of all the boxes so far in a lot of ways.

A wall of identical-sized but clearly very differently designed cubes is pretty cool though. Scatter a few bot-mode BBs around the display and visitors immediately understand that all those cubes turn into different robots. I think it makes for a pretty cool shelf centerpiece.

Gold Experience is kind of the same colors, especially how the anime renders it. If it had some pink or green accents, I'd lean more towards it being intentional.

I'm that guy who came to love the Rhino and Hippo despite being super critical of them at first and I gotta say, that Shark looks super weird to me. I want it to work because I've really been wanting a shark, but its proportions just look incredibly off.

Oh shit you're totally right. I didn't even realize. I feel like the head looks way too small. Ideally I would of thought a Hammerhead Shark would fit with the boxy aesthetics more. I'm pretty thrilled with everything shown though and the Shark isn't as bad up close as it looked from far away. A Crocodile was near the top of my list and so was a Sabertooth Tiger, so I got pretty lucky overall.

Thing I'm confused about is these mecha they are doing that fold up and seem to be megaboxes. I don't know if they are from another property or are original? Or if they are meant to be human piloted machines in the same world as the beast boxes themselves?
