>>7506416>Any shop you must go?For new stuff the Radio Kaikan building is pretty much the best place to go for new stuff, with "Ekkusu" (X), Yellow Submarine and Amiami the better of the shops on the floor. There's also a decent Jungle near the top floor for second hand stuff but the one down the back streets elsewhere is better.
For second hand stuff Mandarake, and as mentioned above, Jungle. Also the Surugaya on the main road towards the end is pretty good.
It's true that you can spend all day there, but to be honest in the last decade the other small shops have gotten progressively worse. You used to be able to hunt for bargains but these days 90% of the best stuff you'll find in the places listed above, while the rest are smaller, worse stocked shops that generally hike the prices up due to less sales and rent to pay.
I mean, I guess if you hunt around long enough you might find something nice, but the chance is a lot lower than it used to be.
Also go to Nakano Broadway. Scout around floors 2, 3 and 4 for most of the shops. It's all interior so no real trouble finding all the shops there.
