>>7518372It's a fantastic G1 scramble city homage. Great colors, fantastic sculpting, added a silly powermasteresque gimmick just for the hell of it. Even the boxes are designed to look old, worn, torn, sun bleached, or even like reissues from other countries like you actually had to track down each one from a unique place and different collector. That does mean that they are essentially G1 bricks with outrageously out of wack proportions that require sticker applications, which ultimately means you won't get much play value from him period.
Ultimately, Glacialord is an art piece. His value is in the era of G1 toys his aesthetics are based on, warts and all. I really like him, but I wouldn't buy him because I'm big on articulation and have absolutely no attachment to G1 toy aesthetics, but if you like G1 toys for what they are, you'll like Glacialord.
Now if they made a Unite Warriors styled boxset of them with modern articulation and aesthetics that ere combatible with combiner war toys, I'd preorder two yesterday. Shame all Fansproject seems to do anymore is repaint Steelcore.
