Yeah I share some of this emotion, I have the relevant Goku/Vegeta heads via DF, 1.0 and bootlegs, so I'm not really pressed to buy them again. Good for others to have another chance though. Even UI isn't visually interesting to me honestly

As terrible as GT is(and I mean that, it doesn't hold up), I'd take ss4 goku, Vegeta , gogeta, baby and Omega shenron real quick.

Releasing Blue before SS means they'll get the people who want SS buying Blue just to have a Gogeta and those buyers'll probably buy SS when it eventually comes out anyway. If they released SS first, they'd lose that group of people and the sales for Blue would be less. Which figure is your SSG head going on?

I'm leaning to putting it on the super Vegeta body. then putting the non Majin ss head on the Majin body.

quite annoyed that super Vegeta faces don't fit on the Majin head sockets when the sculpt looks pretty much the same.

I have a dreaded feeling though that we are going to get jood and that the neck pegs are going to be different with the upcoming broly Vegeta fig where it's going to be too loose on other bodies or too tight.

How can something have highlights that are a different color than it is? A black object should have grey or white highlights, a blue object would have a lighter shade of blue as its highlights. Therefore if an object has blue highlights that must mean that the object itself is a darker shade of blue. That's what highlights fucking mean.

Actual artist here, blue is often used as a highlight to black because navy blue is one of the closest colors to do so with. All the black armor in DBZ often has blue highlights as do most shows because it's a common practice.
That being said, Nappa's has an underlying blueish tone with brighter blue shading than the other characters, leading me to believe his armor is a navy blue rather than black.

Because I always felt the opposite was true since Vegito names himself starting with Vegeta, then Kakarotto(a name pretty much only Vegeta uses) and outside of that anime filler, he immediately powers up and relishes in humiliating his opponents like Vegeta does.

Vs Gogeta being Goku+Vegeta(probably just following the Gotenks name, but also Goku leads during the fusion dance) and he spent a lot of time dicking around before getting serious(failed fusions in both movies and gradually powering up while fighting Broly).

Having collected Japanese merchandise exclusively for the past 20 years I can say that most boxes are designed to be opened from the left the same way as they'd open a book. Figuarts boxes are designed to be opened from the window side.

In fact I hear it can affect the value in some 2nd hand stores.

I literally had no interest in them at all until I saw the 2.0s which actually looked good and looked a lot like the characters

It also seems like King Piccolo's height got retconned, as he was the height Kami was when he first appeared, and then Kami became Piccolo's height in the Android saga.

Not likely, it's entirely possible that King Piccolo looks too much like Piccolo 2.0 and people bitch, then they release the real figure later. Including a Dragon Ball, paining a symbol on his chest and calling it a day.

I have the original releases and the 2.0 versions. The only one that doesn't hold up is the SSJ3 Goku, and it's only because the colors are so bad. Other than that they're still good figures.
