Not confirmed with a slot, but Broly and 21 recently took a few months for an actual slot to be announced.

One of the only times a "no pictures" signs almost worked, this is the only image of Jiren.

Gogeta looks decent enough, but the hair will be fucked up and rounded out, and I doubt he'll actually have shading.

Broly looks decent as well, but he's definitely going to be too small and will scale terribly. Also, he'll have shitty rounded hair.

I managed to get Dragon Stars Cell and he's legitimately better than SHF Cell. So that's a first for the line.

They had no motives aside from simply wanting to cause chaos for no discernable reasons. They didn't have any personalities (aside from Majin Buu who was a literal fat retard), and Kid Buu barely even spoke. The only interesting on was the Gohan/Gotenks/Piccolo absorbed version.

I'm comparing them because my overall point was Goten and Kid Trunks' wasted potential. You're right that Gohan and Trunks had a lot of development. That's my point. Goten and Trunks have been around for quite a while and have had plenty of opportunities to get some development, but the writers refuse to develop them like they did with Gohan and Adult Trunks. They had a great opportunity to give them some kind of character arc during the tournament of power. But nope, they had to babysit dinosaurs on a shitty island instead of actually getting screen time during the fights.

That's why it's easy to compare Goten to Gohan. Gohan went from being a helpless kid to powerhouse during the Cell Saga and that made him likeable and relatable. Meanwhile, Goten has had no change in his personality whatsoever. Adult Trunks went from being insecure in his own abilities to taking charge of the future himself. Then you look at Kid Trunks who has had no changes since his introduction.

Did I break that down enough for you?

Honestly, a lot of the "standard" figures that you may want to pick up are still decently priced and readily available.

Base Goku, SS/Awakened Warrior Goku, Super Vegeta, Scouter Vegeta, SS/Battle Armor Trunks, Frieza 2.0, both Buus, etc. are all still available at retail. If you really want to dip into secondary characters, even Mr. Satan, Great Saiyaman, etc are relatively new and available.

Figures like Androids, Piccolo, Cell, etc are pretty much due for an update, and most people suspect they'll get updates relatively soon.

Honestly, its as good a time as any to jump in.

Yeah, it's not ideal. I didn't want to damage any of my official figs, so I had to cut the bootlegs neck peg off and sand it down so it would slot into the neck joint. The weight of the hair limits the posing options unless you use another stand to hold the hair up.

Yeah, as I said before, we have all the parts for a Cell/Buu Saga SSJ Goku now. Just put yellow paint on the SSR/SSB hair sculpt then stick it on the SSJ3 body and call it a day! Not difficult. They could even throw it a SROE head and put peg holes in each head for the Frieza halo and done. Surprised it is taking so long.

True. Just saying that the way they've been going now, it's not impossible to see a SS and a SS2 Goku head in one release, especially if the faces work interchangeably with both heads.
Unless they really, really, really intend to milk Goku for every transformation he's worth and they do make a separate SS2 release, but that doesn't seem likely- even for Bandai.

We got the Dramatic Scale Shenron, but no guarantee it will get an actual release.

Seems Tamashii are only promoting stuff in the west now, so next big convention reveal will probably be SDCC in a couple months.

For now we'll just have to be happy with Piccolo Daimao and maybe new Goku promo pics when they come out.

I'd go as far as to say 50% of the figure was re-use, but the torso, arms and faces were entirely new sculpts so unfair to call it a re-issue.

Bar the obvious QC issue with the missing face, it isn't a 'bad' figure. The problem stems from the face the prototype was sooooooo good.

If they had just prototyped the final product from the start I guarantee you it wouldn't have got half the bashing.

Yes, the wrath form is essentially the closest to a canon SS4. Similar mechanism, fairly similar look, at least with the hair and eyes. Just not sure if they'd give Goku that, but it would look cool, in my opinion.

It's actually hilarious considering Teen Gohan (both of them) would be the same height as Gotenks, but Gotenk's head is twice the size. It seems like they want to bring out the character, but it doesn't fit in at all with any of the line. They're not scaled differently, their heads are just way too big, and I don't know how to fix it.

Hurry the fuck up. The DBS characters are the only ones that matter. Enough with this shelf warming db line. Yawn they can repaint and repurpose the shitty db line all they want, but theyre a flop and so horribly out of scale with the rest of the line, they're little to lile about them.

Accessories for Jiren: crossed arms stern look, eyes closed, eyes wide, and teeth grit face. Thats literally it. And its still better than ulgy buu sized grampa piccolo with crock pot. Foh.

You know I never understood why he was called "Teen" Gohan in the english version, he's nine years old when he fights Cell. They call him "adult" Gohan when he fight's Boo yet he's only sixteen, so he's actually a teenager then. Some people say it's to differentiate his Cell arc appearance from the Saiyan era but he's more of a toddler when Radits shows up.
