This is the biggest issue with Bopeep that I haven’t seen discussed. Customizers, you may want to sit down for this, because I got some bad news for you:
Her pale skintone doesn’t match anything that I could find.
That’s right. There’s no pale heads or bodies that match what Bopeep has got. Just look at my hastily put together doll matrix pic to see that noting matches her skin type. It’s JUUUST a bit off from everything I’ve got. The MtM pale bodies in the middle are a bit too pink and the non-Mattel dolls below are too white. Harley and Apple White above come the closest, but their heads can’t be swapped with Peep’s due to the neck hole size difference. MH’s Lala (And Spectra, not seen) are right out for both color & neck hole difference.
At best Mattel’s old Frozen dolls are your best match. If you’re pining for a thicc Elsa & Anna, buy Bopeep and scrounge around the thrifts stores for a donor body to swap heads with. Right now, there’s plenty of old Frozen dolls to find at thrift shops, but that may change when Frozen 2 drops, so get one now.
