I don't collect either ML or Pokeymen, but most ML figs reuse parts making them cheaper to prodece while most Pokemons need dedicated sculpt and tooling.

Cannonball? Yeah, he was fairly prominent in the late 80s/early 90s. If you saw Cable in Deadpool 2, one of the original ideas for his comic origin was that he was Cannonball from the future.

Also, a lot of shit going on with the Marvel Legends line is pandering to 90s fans. Serpent Society, 90s Spider-Woman, Night Thrasher (who was basically Marvel's Batman in the early 90s and led the only non-Mutant teen/young adult team book that people gave a shit about), and a ton of 90s era X-Men in their 90s era costumes.

There are tons of pokemon everyone knows, that aren't even the starters. Heres one from each gen.

1. Alakazam
2. houndoom, steelix, scizzor, skarmory, and tyranitar
3. Metagross, aggron, salamence, milotic, gardevoir
4. Garchomp, lucario, togekiss
5. Bisharp, haxxorus,

I stopped playing after 5, because life. I'd still buy some rad 6+ designs if they were cool though

All of these would sell bucketloads, if they just had ball joints.
