Just a repost, bought Godzilla from Gamestop. They only had the one, but I'm very happy with it. I'm getting the Monsterart too, like always, but this is a pretty great figure, the updated design is really welcomed.

The wiring is holding up great so far and the pleather material is nice and thick. The coat was made by folding single-sided red pleather in on itself and stitching the lining, but the interior of the coat isn't entirely double-lined. You can see in this pic that towards the center of the interior the material ends before it meets itself so there's this weird little gap of single-sided material. But you wouldn't even notice if you weren't looking close.

What's really nice is the black cuffs on the original coat come off with minimal effort but are snug enough to stay in place with the custom coat, completing the look seamlessly.

The wired coat allows for way more posing options and a vastly improved center of gravity. It really does make the figure a million times better.

nah they both suck, sad as I am to say it. I really wish SHMA could turn things around and make toys that actually look worth the price they're asking for again, like they did in the earlier years, and with NECA I'm disappointed because this is coming fresh off of their last Godzilla being a home run. Seeing the faces on this new one look as bad as they do genuinely disappoints me, especially since the rest of the figure looks like some of their best work in this line.

I'm not denying that particular figure he purchased just happen to be one with a QQ issue, but its not like it broke just on it's own. He clearly put the force needed to break the glue there. So if anything its a technical issue of NECA's machines not glueing joints together good enough. The molds themselves are fine.

I've purchased 40 NECA figs and only two of them have had issues similar to this where the limbs break off easily. It's an issue, for sure, but not so big of an issue you have to constantly discuss it here and paint a bigger generalization of the company being bad, when its not as bad you're making it seem.

It’s a known fact that any and all super tight joints from any toy company should be heated prior to moving. I have figures from tons of domestic and import companies and it’s across the board.

Even D Amazing states that he pushed the figure too far, right when it happens.

NECA makes products that I enjoy, you just have to handle them properly.

I’ve had stuck joints on just about all types of figures. NECA, Marvel Legends, Figuarts, etc. it happens sometimes.

On top of that, some Japanese lines, especially Figuarts like the Iron Man figures and some of the Dragonball stuff flat out tells you to articulate the figure minimally or risk paint rub/chipping.

You need to be cautious and not retarded with basically all types of figures.

Its that video game paint job. The colors are meant to be brighter and more flat than the more "realistic" figures and characters. Its how they've done all their VG characters.

Really, the Aliens Xeno has pretty much historically been the number one figure with breakage issues. I'm not sure what it is. If its just the design of the figure, or the design of the joints, or the plastic they use for that particular figure. 90% of the pics of broken figures are Xeno warriors, it seems.

I think the main problem with her eyes is how small her irises are, actually.The Faun is amazing, though, if difficult to get to stand. The accessories are great, Ofelia’s book opens and the text is readable Spanish, the Faun’s dagger can go inside his cylindrical bag. Only the fairies all being the same sculpt and being impossible to stand without leaning on something is disappointing.
